Serenity named top sci-fi movie

Space thriller Serenity has beaten Star Wars to the title of best sci-fi movie in an SFX magazine poll of 3,000 fans.

I would wager there was a massive ballot-stuffing initiative by Serenity fans, because that just doesn't make sense the general public - even the general sci-fi public - would choose it over Star Wars.

But interestingly, the poll now shows Star Wars (36%) in front of Serenity (28%).

Sometimes reason prevails...
