In the first installment of another continuing series, I will present a generally accepted bit of Conventional Wisdom for you to defend, refute, or (most likely) otherwise ignore. Canadian Ms. Dion sang "God Bless America" at the Super Bowl on Sunday, which has resurfaced the Conventional Wisdom that she is a bad singer, a bad person, and tacky.
