Gary Lundy has died of a heart attack

"Gary Lundy, a multi award-winning sports columnist and reporter, died this afternoon after collapsing this morning in the newsroom. The mild-mannered, dry-witted Lundy was widely respected and was friends to everyone. As a journalist, he was fair minded and pulled no punches in his columns. He would have been 50 next month."
